Jack O’Sullivan, a 22-year-old law student when he disappeared, remains missing more than two years after he vanished in the early hours of March 2, 2024, following a house party in Bristol, England.
Jack attended a birthday party in the Hotwells area before leaving at approximately 2:53 a.m. His family said he had been trying to arrange a ride home and was later captured on CCTV attempting to stop taxis.
Police said the last likely sighting of Jack was at approximately 3:38 a.m., when he was walking along the Bennett Way slip road toward Bristol city centre.
Despite extensive searches, including dive teams searching the river and police reviewing more than 100 hours of CCTV footage, Jack has never been found.
His family continues to appeal for information, believing someone may have seen something that could help explain what happened to him.
Jack’s mother, Catherine O’Sullivan, said she believes someone in the area may have inadvertently witnessed something significant without realizing it at the time.
His brother, Ben O’Sullivan, said the family’s determination to find answers has not diminished. He described the continuing uncertainty as painful but said they would not give up until they understand what happened to Jack.
A Facebook group created during the search has grown to more than 103,000 members, with supporters continuing to share information and appeals.
Avon and Somerset Police have emphasized that Jack’s disappearance remains a live investigation. Assistant Chief Constable Joanne Hall said the force continues to explore further investigative opportunities and urged anyone with information to come forward.
Jack is described as white, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slim build and short brown hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing a quilted green-brown Barbour jacket over a beige woollen jumper, navy chinos, and brown leather trainers with white soles.
For Jack’s family, the absence of answers has made the past two years an ongoing ordeal. His mother has repeatedly emphasized that hope remains central to their search.
